Sporting Clays in Southwest Michigan

The state of Michigan boasts of being first in the nation for licensed hunters and fisherman, which count over one million and contribute greatly to Michigan's economy.  It is considered by many a true wonderland for hunters and fisherman.  The many woods and fields of Southwest Michigan seem to be teeming with wild game, including Squirrel, Deer, Ruffed Grouse Cottontail Rabbit, and Wild Turkey.  The white-tailed deer season draws over three-quarter of a million hunters.  Call the Michigan DNR at 517-373-09908 or check their website for information on locations for hunting and where you can purchase a hunting license.

Limited hunting is permitted at: Crane Pond State Game Preserve, Cass County and Dr. T.K. Lawless Park, Cass County.

The Deer Creek Hunt Club is a popular location for sporting clays, skeet shooting, 5 stand & trap shooting, with a state of the art throwing system.
