U-Pick Fruit Farms in Southwest Michigan

Southwest Michigan is known as the Fruit Belt, and it supplies much of the produce consumed in the entire region, including the Chicago area. "U-Pick" or "Pick Your Own" vegetable and fruit farms are found all over Southwest Michigan.  Picking fruit or vegetables is a fun way to spend the day with the family, and go home with fresh produce for your dinner. Take a scenic drive and pick your own peaches, pears, cherries, blueberries, sweet corn, apples, grapes, asparagus, strawberries, and more.  Remember, hours and other information contained in these listings can change, due to the weather, so be sure to call first before heading out. Another good resource is the website PickYourOwn.org. There are several "U-Picks" that are within a very short drive of Lake Chapin Shores, a second home community located in Berrien Springs.
